Hyperlink Directory F.A.Q.
(Frequently Asked Questions)
Hyperlink DirectoryTM is whole-heartedly interested in becoming the best directory of quality English language websites and online resources available on the web. In order to accomplish this, we accept only quality websites that are family friendly and kid safe. But we actually accept as many such quality sites as possible so that we are a bonafide resource ourselves, not simply a small list of websites.
In order to assist our membership and directory users more readily and make the directory work for them, we have established a concise set of submission terms that are available at submission, as well as a more detailed complete set of guidelines for attaining listing submission success in our premium web directory.
But sometimes this is still not enough. Therefore, we are establishing this Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) guide to address any questions, concerns and/or issues that our membership, users and paying customers might have.
Do I have to register?
No, you do not. No one is required to join either to use the directory or to submit listings. Registration simply allows the user additional time saving features, such as preferences, a validated email address for submissions (upon first-time account email validation) and other benefits.
My website or web page is listed in your directory, but I did not offer a reciprocal link or pay for a listing. How did that happen?
Not all listings are either reciprocal or paid listings. When I like a website and what it has to offer, I bookmark it. So it only makes sense that since our goal is to make a quality directory that is a good resource to its users, we share as much good information as I can. Therefore, you will find hyperlinks in this directory that come right out of our favorites. These are vital quality links to great websites or to exceptional blog articles.
My website or blog page is listed in Hyperlink Directory. How can I remove it?
You can't. Hyperlink Directory is full of quality links and being listed here should be considered an honor. Google is scaring many webmasters by telling them to remove links in many directories, but they are trying to control all traffic on the internet. This is a United States of America directory and it is our right to free speech to use hyperlinks to point out great resource sites and web pages. The end result of this is that we send you traffic. Should you have a problem with that, Google offers a variety of ways to disavow links back to your site.
